We are looking for a Triage Manager to join the Triage Team, who will be responsible for the receipt, assessment and progression of all new Fitness to Practise referrals, as well as responding to general enquiries about the fitness to practise process.

The HCPC’s Triage function ensures that all Fitness to Practise complaints and referrals are appropriately risk assessed, streamed and progressed in accordance local guidance and procedures. The Triage function also handles all non-case specific general enquiries about fitness to practice, including providing advice on how and when to refer to the HCPC.

 

Your role

As a Triage Manager, you will:

  • Ensure complaints and referrals are analysed, summarised, and streamed appropriately and on time.

  • Effectively plan, forecast, and prioritise work to meet performance and quality expectations.

  • Make sound, evidence-based decisions and prioritise higher-risk cases within regulatory frameworks.

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately to build a positive, motivated team environment.

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with HCPC values and behaviours.

  • Support team development, resilience, and adaptability through effective leadership and learning opportunities.

Location: Hybrid working with a mandatory attendance of 1-2 days a week at our office in London.
