Job description

Key responsibilities

 

  • Manage and administer Business Central, serving as the primary point of contact for system configuration, customisation and user support.
  • Collaborate with IT, Product Management and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for sales ledger activities.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of payment processing systems, including Bottomline PTX and Worldpay, to streamline payment processes and enhance security and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and analytics within Business Central to support decision-making and financial analysis.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to finance operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to finance staff and end users on the use of financial systems, processes and tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems and processes, staying abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and efficiency gains within financial systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support organisational objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Maintain documentation, policies and procedures related to financial systems and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

 

About you

 

  • A proven track record of acting as change agent, working proactively in a collaborative and supportive way to make systems and financial change happen.
  • At least 5 years previous experience working in a financial environment with significant experience of MS Dynamics Business Central
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, at all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to challenge and influence decisions at all levels with an assertive and confident approach to managing conflict and gaining credibility quickly.
  • A positive, proactive and curious mind-set with the experience to apply critical analysis and judgement when faced with challenges; ensuring these solutions are customer focused and balance the wider needs of the organisation.
