Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project and Change Manager to join our Business Change team at the HCPC. This role plays a key part in delivering the ambitions set out in our Corporate Plan, supporting organisation-wide change that strengthens how we regulate and protect the public.

 

Working closely with the Head of Business Change, you will lead the delivery of complex and strategically important projects which enable HCPC’s corporate strategy, investment plan and organisational goals. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project delivery, from business case development through to delivery, change implementation, benefit tracking, and closure.

 

We are looking for someone with good leadership skills, experience delivering change in complex environments, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and delivery.

 

Candidate Requirements

*        Educated to degree level or equivalent skills and knowledge

*        Prince 2, APM or equivalent qualified

*        Proven experience of successfully managing a range of complex business improvement projects with a significant technology component in the role of a Project Manager

*        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical employees at all levels

*        Proven experience of successfully managing challenging project teams and stakeholders

*        Exceptional ability to build relationships, create networks and work as part of a team

*        Flexible approach to work with demonstrable ability to lead and exercise initiative with minimal supervision

*        Proven experience of producing reports for senior management or to Board level

*        Proven and excellent project management skills with knowledge of project management methodologies and processes

Location: Hybrid working with a mandatory attendance of 1-2 days a week at our office in London

Closing Date: Thursday, 13 November 2025

Interview Date: Week commencing 24 November 2025. The interview process will consist of two stages, with one of the interviews onsite.
