Job description

We’re looking for a business partner to join us at the HCPC. Not just any business partner. Someone ambitious and genuine, who works best within a collaborative and compassionate environment and who will identify and provide both strategic and tactical solutions to people-based challenges.

 

In January 2022 we launched our 5-year People Strategy which sets out how we will attract the best people to our teams, become a high performing, capable and skilled organisation, be compassionate, inclusive and effective and how we will develop and embed an organisational culture where morale is high.

 

Our above plan set out a clear ambition for change and we are looking for an exceptional HRBP to help us continue on this journey and take a lead role on supporting the HCPC to achieve their strategic objectives. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will support across a range of HR work – from organisation design, job design, succession planning, employer branding to employee relations and helping support your client groups to achieve their business objectives.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong generalist with a business mindset, ideally CIPD or relevant qualification
  • Proven experience of delivering as a credible highly skilled business partner
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work at both a strategic an operational level and switch between the two as necessary
  • Understands people analytics and metrics, including experience using data to inform decision making and drive forward change
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Experience of workforce planning and succession planning
  • Strong change management experience with experience of delivering the people aspects of organisation-wide change projects and programmes
  • Flexible, adaptable and inclusive in nature.
