Job description
We are looking for a strategic and compassionate leader to head our Professional Liaison and Outreach Service. This role is central to shaping how we proactively regulate and support professional practice across the UK. You will lead a team to design and deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions that promote professionalism, prevent harm, and support high-quality care. Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external stakeholders, you will ensure our outreach efforts are informed by behavioural science, data, and a deep understanding of professional environments.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a visionary leader with senior experience, ideally within a regulatory or public service context, who can shape how we influence professional practice across the UK. You will be confident leading multi-disciplinary teams and designing impactful, evidence-based interventions that drive cultural and behavioural change. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insight into action. You will be comfortable engaging at senior levels, including with Boards and external partners, and committed to promoting professionalism, public protection, and inclusive leadership. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel across the UK.

Location: Hybrid working with a mandatory attendance of 1-2 days weekly at our office in London
